“So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.” - Luke 12:32 (NLT)
“Don’t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey’s colt.” - John 12:15
“Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.” - Revelation 2:10
“‘Don’t be afraid,’ Samuel reassured them. ‘You have certainly done wrong, but make sure now that you worship the Lord with all your heart, and don’t turn your back on him. Don’t go back to worshiping worthless idols that cannot help or rescue you—they are totally useless! The Lord will not abandon his people, because that would dishonor his great name. For it has pleased the Lord to make you his very own people.” - 1 Samuel 12:20-22
“‘Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don’t be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.’” - Isaiah 41:14
These are just a few examples. God tells us not to be afraid because he is there for us. He works everything out for the good of those who love him. Jesus promises to be with us until the end of the age. Our God is faithful. He will never leave us. Therefore, if you are going through hard and difficult times, look up. God is there. He will not let you fall. So, do not be afraid.
